Neuropathy
Peripheral neuropathy is damage to the small nerves of the feet, legs or hands, most often from diabetes, chemotherapy or nerve compression. It causes burning, numbness and pins and needles, usually worse at night. Treatment focuses on medication, protecting the feet, and neuromodulation in severe cases.
